Spring . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
The renewal of Spring is as apparent in the Lake Chelan Valley as it is anywhere!
All the benefits of the Mountain View Lodge in the Winter are still yours in the Spring, but the snow is melted (or melting!) and it’s time to get out your bikes, hiking shoes, fishing boats and GPS systems for geocaching. It’s also a perfect time to take a walk on the beach! The Lake is down now and you can bring your dog (Yes! We do have pet friendly rooms!) , your family or maybe that special someone and walk in the sand; take the kids for a guided fishing trip! Then come back to the Lodge and soak your bones in the hot tub or warm yourself by the fire; grill up the fish you caught or something tasty and have a cup of coffee or a cocoa from the Lobby with your movie.
The activities and things to do just don’t stop. The season starts with a St. Patrick’s Parade 4 Dogs & Kids; there’s an Easter egg hunt, an Earth Day Fair, the Wally Peterson Memorial Fly-In Show and more! You won’t want to miss the famous Manson Apple Blossom Festival (better book now!) and, if you’re a wine connoisseur, the Spring Wine Release. Chelan’s First Friday’s run the entire year so you’ll still find great deals and lots of fun, and all the shops and restaurants in Manson and Chelan are waiting to serve you. Taking the Lady of the Lake up to Stehekin while there is still snow in the mountains is a site to behold! There is detailed information on all these activities and so much more on the Chamber Website. Check it out!
